Hōpoelehuaopuna

Our original print, and the print we are best known for : Hōpoelehuaopuna . Translated, it means “the shapely Lehua blossom of Puna”. It is a name given to our designer Kehau’s daughter Kahulale‘a from her Kumu. The full blossomed ‘Ōhi’a lehua blossom created  in this artwork is a depiction of the lehua blossoms found abundantly in Kehau’s home land of Puna on Hawaii island.
