Kēhaulani (Marzo) Nielson

Owner and Designer, Kahulale’a

Kahulale’a is a Native Hawaiian-owned aloha wear boutique, proudly locally owned and ‘Ohana operated. Founded in 2013 by Kēhaulani Nielson, a talented Native Hawaiian designer, artist, hula practitioner, and businesswoman, Kahulale’a has quickly become a beloved name in the Hawaii fashion scene.

Our boutique is renowned for its stunning clothing adorned with original artwork exclusive to our brand. Each design tells a unique story and carries deep meaning, inspired by both Kēhaulani’s 30-plus years as a Hula practitioner and her life long love for the land she grew up in.

In 2017, Kahulale’a opened a small showroom in the heart of Honolulu, marking the beginning of our retail journey. By Fall 2019, we proudly launched our first retail location at Ala Moana Shopping Center, the world's largest open-air shopping center. You can now also find our beautiful collections at our second retail boutique at the Westin Moana Surfrider hotel.

Visit us at Ala Moana Center, the Westin Moana Surfrider hotel, online at www.Kahulalea.com, or through our social media platforms to experience the vibrant stories and meaningful artwork of Kahulale’a. When she’s not overseeing daily operations, Kēhaulani enjoys spending time with her ‘Ohana – her husband Scott, son Stone, and daughter Kahulale’a.
